I have found success serving schools and communities by creating programming that supports the social and emotional development process, which influences decision making. Supported by research-based curriculum and a planning process consistent with the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF), my goal is to impact the thinking of young people. As reinforcement, I also identify opportunities for students to demonstrate understanding of the tools that support positive behaviors.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
JoJuan Armour is a versatile and accomplished professional, weaving together a rich tapestry of experiences in athletics, public health, and education. A graduate of Miami University with a Bachelor of Arts in History, JoJuan's journey unfolds from a triumphant ten-year professional football career to his current role as the Chief Executive Officer of Armour Consulting, a venture he founded in 2022 to address public health issues affecting young people and their families.
JoJuan's leadership prowess and goal-oriented mindset have been honed throughout his diverse career. JoJuan also excelled off the field, earning the March of Dimes Bengal Man of the Year for his service to the community of Cincinnati. Which makes his commitment to service to families and communities, no surprise today. In 2021, as the Program Manager of the Mayor’s Initiative to Reduce Gun Violence, JoJuan led the campaign to address gun violence in the City of Toledo. In the very first year of that effort, the Southside of Toledo saw a 66% decrease in homicides. This was the first of three target areas to be addressed, the Junction and Englewood Communities. This had a significant impact on the reduction in the total number of homicides felt in the coming years. Despite leaving the position as Program Manager the city has continued to see annual decreases in homicide numbers.
JoJuan’s dedication to excellence is evident in his diverse experiences, from leading prevention efforts at the Urban Minority Alcohol & Drug Abuse Outreach Program (UMADAOP) Lucas County to supporting The University of Toledo Rockets Football Program.
